The Challenge
After noticing that their user base was skewed heavily towards females, one of the worlds biggest Video based Social Media platforms approached GuineaPig to support them with an in-depth research study seeking to understand how they can better engage with and increase their male audience.
Target Groups
18x aged 18-35
All identify as male
Even spread of ages
Mix of locations - North & South UK
Minimum 4x ethnic minority & 2x LGBT
Included respondents who identify as non-binary or trans men.
The Results
A hugely successful campaign fully recruited and completed by all participants.
Fascinating insights into the male user engagement level and attitudes towards to the platform which has shaped new advances and updates on the platform and in turn, has directly supported the increase of male user sign ups.
